"Ice...Ice...Baby"

Well this s*cks. No snow. All we got was ice! The snow line never made it down to us. We got lots of ice and sleet but the powdery stuff stayed north of us. I guess I'm partly to blame. I should never have taken the word of those great poker players...the weatherman. And I probably jinxed it by creating this blog! We're supposed to get down to freezing tonight then warm up to 41 degrees tomorrow, then another cold front comes in but alas...no snow.

No snow yet - just ice :-(

12:50pm - Sleet is now falling. It's collected in the back of my truck and on the bushes.

10:50am - my daughter Emmy really wants it to snow - look at what she wrote on her window! Still no show! We're keeping our fingers crossed! Looks like it's just north of us! Radar showing the blue as snow!

7:00am - No snow yet. Got down to 29 degrees so only a lot of ice. Liz had to go into work for an important meeting so I stayed home with the kids because they canceled school. They say the moisture has moved away and up to the north of San Antonio but we will have more rain today - plus it will remain above or below freezing all day today. Tonight it should freeze again so maybe snow there? We'll see and I'll keep you posted.

Snow is coming!

This is a momentous event! San Antonio TX will (keep your fingers crossed) get some snow tomorrow! Last measurable snow San Antonio had was back in 1985! So, I decided to blog this special event for the next couple of days.

Temperature is dropping and it's gonna freeze that rain we've been getting. Kids are ecstatic! No school and they've never seen snow! As of 8pm - it's 32 degrees!

I'll post as often as the snow ball throwing will allow!
